Drew McKissick and the SCGOP establishment leadership have been using a "TRICK" to bring in "unelected" delegates / voters to previous conventions.
We know firsthand that this "trick" WAS used by the "establishment" to bring in unelected establishment voters, at the 4th District Congressional, a few weeks ago at the July 30, 2022 "Special Called" State Convention. We suspect this is happening all over the place when they need extra votes.
The reason they have been doing this is because they say it's "customary practice" or "custom and tradition". BUT, it is how they CHEAT!!! They have been doing it for years!!!
Well, guess what, we discovered that it is in fact ILLEGAL under SC State Election Law!!! SC Code Section 7-9-100 clearly states that the "convention must be composed of delegates elected by the county conventions". The SCGOP, absolutely, already knows what the law says.
The SCGOP has been silent on whether this practice will be allowed this coming weekend, at the Saturday May 4th SCGOP State Convention. We may not know until Friday night when credentialing teams, from all 46 counties, will be meeting in Columbia to prepare for the Saturday morning convention. The SCGOP knows what they are going to do ... but they won't tell us ... another way to "cheat"!!!
