2025 SCGOP CHAIRMAN RACE - "Drew's Minions Save Him Again." The 2025 Precinct ReOrg process is now over. It was a raucous 2025 SCGOP State Convention this past Saturday, May 3rd, at the Columbia Convention Center. Free biscuits and coffee from Senator Lindsey Graham did not soothe the frustrations of the MAGA America First contingent … especially after their favorite Pickens County was disqualified over a “fabricated” infraction designed to take 24 anti-Drew McKissick votes off the table. (More to come on Pickens) As in 2023 … the SCGOP “establishment” pulled every trick in the book. Many first timers to the SCGOP convention witnessed with their own eyes the tyranny of the old guard establishment and their complete lack of respect for SC citizens. Many first timers witnessed not a single elected official in attendance stopping the overt ramrodding of the America FIRST SC Patriots … and in fact many of them celebrated it. Now Patriots know … and they saw firsthand Lt. Governor Pamela Evette & Attorney General Alan Wilson turn a blind eye to 45%+ of the body. It certainly won’t help them in the voting booth next June 9th, 2026 in the Governor’s Race ... if they make it that far. Regardless, Drew McKissick slipped back in by 103 votes, not near as close as the 16 votes of the 2023 SCGOP State Convention, but after all the tricks pulled in Charleston, Lexington, Georgetown, PICKENS and other counties … what were we to expect. Yes, some are licking their wounds (for a day or two) … but most are more motivated than ever. Drew's Final Hoorah!!! - Saturday was FANTASTIC!!! "Say what?", you might ask. Yes, the entrenched SCGOP "establishment" ramrodded the opening of the May 4th, 2024 SCGOP State Convention right down our throats just like they did with the May 20th, 2023 state convention. How is that good? Well, many of us probably needed to see it again to believe it ... and we had a lot of new people there on Saturday that had never seen it ... so there is no debate what happened. Yes, America FIRST Patriots lost the top National Committeeman & National Committeewoman spots to the long term incumbents ... but all of our candidates listed on the America FIRST national delegate slate were elected to be RNC Delegates or Alternates to Milwaukee in July. We crushed it!!! Yes, the actions of the SCGOP "establishment" were nasty and disgusting ... but as Steve Bannon's opening promo for his show so accurately states ... "This is the primal scream of a dying regime." Whether you know it our not, we all literally just watched on Saturday the current SCGOP Chairman Drew McKissick's final hoorah. Overall a great day ... and a WIN!!! Now ... we finish it with #ReOrg2025!!! A Few Points: We will have move to share ... but here are a few points on Saturday: The Lt. Governor Pamela Evette severely exposed herself. Literally right after the ramrodding she took the stage and started talking about "unity". More like "sit down and shut up"!!! It was a massive slap in the face MAGA / America FIRST Trump supporters ... and something that will likely (unless she comes to the table and fixes it quickly) be terminal to her campaign for Governor in 2026. Jay Ragley ... the education lobbyist TOOL!!! Who was that guy that ramrodded the convention as Temporary & Permanent President? We will have more on him later ... but they are desperate. LEXINGTON SURPRISE?!?!? The "splinter group" in Lexington that has been working with Drew McKissick to illegally oust the duly elected Chair Pamela Goodwin is apparently having issues. We are sure the "splinters" did not vote America FIRST ... but their delegation voted 34/13 and 27/19 in favor of America FIRST candidates. Perhaps they see the CHINA connection? And the multiple booing and heckling of the Drew McKissick anointed Lexington Chair was telling. SC Freedom Caucus EXPOSED??? SC House Reps & Congressional Candidates Adam Morgan (4th) & Stewart Jones (3rd) were openly listed on the SCGOP "establishment" National Delegate slate. IT WAS THE ONLY WAY THEY WERE GETTING ELECTED AS NATIONAL DELEGATES. There seems to be no debate anymore ... they are openly working with Drew against the MAGA / America FIRST Patriots in South Carolina. [NOTE, I personally tried to speak with Stewart Jones about his First Steps leftist legislation debacle ... and he openly refused to speak or address the matter. (HERE)] Laurens County ... Stewart Jones EXPOSED!!! Rep. Stewart Jones was in attendance, and a Lauren's Delegate. But their delegation voted 10 to 0 with the SCGOP "establishment" against America FIRST candidates. You can't wiggle out of that vote. THE NUMBERS ... IT WAS CLOSER THAN IT MAY APPEAR!!! We will discuss it more, but the vote on National Committeewoman was only a 90 vote spread. If just two of our America FIRST counties had shown up our fill compliment of delegates ... that vote would have been completely turned around. If we knew what the SCGOP knew about the numbers, it could have gone the other way. Those mistakes won't be made in #ReOrg2025!!! Why the Ramrodding of the Temporary President? Because the SCGOP knew the numbers were close. They refused to allow a "real" division / hand count vote on the opening Convention Temporary President because Drew can not risk losing. They allowed a division vote in the 2023 Greenville County Convention attempted steal & at the 2024 Forth District Convention ... two conventions where they told everyone they had the numbers ... and they LOST both times!!! Drew will not take the risk again. #ReOrg2025 State Convention ... we must show up with 80% of the delegates!!! Again, overall it was a great day ... and a WIN!!! Because between 2014 and 2016, when our independent 501(c)(3) non-profit was one of five involved in the administration of the special needs school choice program (as it is run by independent non-profits in 30 other states) ... we helped increase attendance substantially at good Christian & "unwoke" private schools. Dear South Carolina Patriots, Political vs. Principled? This may seem simple ... but it is one of the hardest concepts for grassroots advocates and voters to truly understand and identify. What is principled? (of a person or their behavior) acting in accordance with morality and showing recognition of right and wrong. "a principled politician" (of a system or method) based on a given set of rules. "a coherent and principled approach" If you want to break it down simply ... "Principled" elected officials follow #1 The Bible, #2 The US Constitution, #3 The Platform in everything they do with all their votes. If it violates any of those documents ... #VoteNO!!! See, simple!!! What is political? Generally that is when a politician does what is practical based on where the wind is blowing at the time ... usually what is best for themselves, perhaps financially or to fulfil all politicians #1 goal of getting re-elected. Most politicians come into office idealistic (or principled) ... but quickly become co-opted by the machine (or their ego) and become pragmatic (or political). They use terms like "you just don't understand" or "leadership says" or "there are other factors to consider" ... but interestingly enough they can't disclose or won't TEACH / EXPLAIN what they mean by all the fluff talk. And ultimately ... when they realize you are on to them ... they refuse to respond completely. They shun you ... delete your from their special chat groups ... and then start to slander you as a trouble maker. They do this even to the grassroots supporters and donors that got them elected in the first place. [NOTE: You do however have to look in the mirror and ask yourself if you are the problem. There are some people who who truly don't "get it" and are trouble makers. It is a fine balance, so be honest with yourself.] And it is really hard for those of us who given so much of our Time, Treasure & Talent to candidates who are now elected officials that "turn" on us. At that point we have two options: Option #1: Put our heads in the sand not wanting to believe or face we made a mistake in supporting this person, or Option #2: ... go all out war, find a challenger for the next election, and hold them accountable for "flipping". [NOTE: Spoiler alert, you have to take Option #2 and hold them accountable.] Remember, "Watch what they DO, not what they SAY."
