Massey Is Pulling Out All The Stops For BIG MONEY!!!
Last Thursday, Senate Majority Leader Shane Massey lost his vote 25 to 19 and said "We are DONE. It's OVER." On Tuesday, Massey "carried over" his S244 - which he had pulled out all his tricks to get the bill on SPECIAL ORDER. You don't do that "if" you have the votes. By all accounts S244 was DEAD!!!
BUT, the statewide robo TEXT MESSAGES kept coming. Why? These are not cheap and who is paying for them? The SC Senate Republican Caucus? The guys that refused to go back into session after Hurricane Helene? How about the SC Chamber of Commerce? Aren't those guys 1,000% in the bag for BIG BUSINESS AND affectionately known as the "Chamber of Compromise", but not in a good way?
