Folks have thankfully started focusing in recent years on K-12 education and the growing problems there ... but one of the big problems everyone has talked about for decades are the WOKE universities and how (1) they have been indoctrinating our children & (2) enslaving them with massive student loan debts. Again, like many problems ... there is an easy fix to this ... but our elected officials refuse to do it ... so you need to dig deeper and ask yourselves Why?". ENTER ... THE AMERICAN ACADEMY: A free educational institution that will "compete directly with the existing and very costly four-year university system by granting students degree credentials that the U.S. government and all federal contractors will henceforth recognize. Trump Yes, we believe the solution for our kids at the university level is free education (that is economically provided - i.e., cost effective) ... as opposed to what the government has given us, unlimited student loan availability (#BAD!!!). That "student debt" (and the need to keep up with the Jones with bigger houses and more expensive cars) has enslaved people ... and that's why many citizens are unwilling to speak up against the government, for fear of reprisals that may cost them "everything" ... not realizing they have lost everything already. South Carolina and the United States does not need a citizenry that is enslaved to the system because of astronomical (and non-dischargeable in bankruptcy - learn that trick) student loan debt. That is especially true when the universities (including our military academies) are indoctrinating kids. There have been huge advancements in online education and AI that "should" reduce the cost of higher education ... not increase it ... so ask yourself "Why?" ... and then look at how much university presidents, staff & professors are paid ... including the perks ... for what they "DO". [NOTE: When I (Jeff Davis) went to The Citadel from 1985-1989, we had no air-conditioning in the barracks ... yes, it was a HOT (and sweaty) Charleston in August ... and there was no Chick-fil-A on campus like today ... but college was cheap. I went to graduate school and earned an law degree & MBA from USC, paying for it myself, and graduated with only $26,000 in student loan debt ... so I was never a "slave" to the system like most kids and professionals are today.] HOW TO PAY FOR IT?: And the best of all ... how does President TRUMP propose to pay for The American Academy? "Under the plan I’m announcing today, we will take the billions and billions of dollars that we will collect by taxing, fining, and suing excessively large private university endowments, and we will then use that money to endow a new institution called the American Academy." - Donald J. Trump Seriously, it is genius ... and we have been advocating this approach for nearly a decade ... it would be a gamechanger.
