Dear South Carolina Patriots,

Election season brings the worst in people. Some get paid to do absolutely anything to have a candidate win or another lose. Some simply cannot control the pressure and disagreement. Decency in human relations gets forgotten ... there is no room for intellectual discussions and difference of opinions. Emotions and personal desires turn into betrayal, deception ... hate. Friendships get ruined, enemies are made. Is it worth it?

Be better. Overcome the evil with good. Don't stoop to "their" level. If your discussion attempts weren't successful, it's time to ignore the enemy. Remain faithful and hopeful ... pray for hateful hearts to be healed. Pray for strength against evil ... against the temptation to interact with the wicked. Let God deal with it.
