House, and other public offices in this year’s midterm elections, the South Carolina Policy Council is preparing to evaluate your elected representatives on our top issues involving tax relief and reform, school choice, government transparency, and free-market policies. We will be “scoring” votes taken during the 2023-2024 legislative session to hold legislators accountable and honor the General Assembly’s true free-market champions. We will be fair, accurate and nonpartisan in this process. We would love to see every lawmaker receive a top score, but to be clear, scores will need to be earned through a dedication to making South Carolina a freer, more prosperous state.
