The Constitution was finalized and signed by 39 individuals on September 17, 1787, the day we now celebrate as “Constitution Day.”

The Constitution is STILL the law of the land! It outlines how our national government is "supposed" to operate and lays out the responsibilities and restrictions of that government. It also specifies rights guaranteed to EVERY American, rights that need to be understood by all.

Take time to read this special edition of the ORIGINAL Constitution of the United States, (including The Bill of Rights, with Amendments 11-27) and The Declaration of Independence. It is identical to the original Constitution, housed in the Archives in Washington, D.C.., in spelling, capitalization and punctuation.

On the front cover there is a picture of George Washington holding a quill in his hand, inviting each of us to pledge our commitment to The Constitution of the United States.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
There is a presence of RCSD and active search occurring in the Kennerly Road/ Western Lane area off Broad River Road. A K9 is tracking and the public is asked to stay away from the area.
The individuals sought were reported to be younger black males (teenage to twenties age range) who are armed and dangerous. Employees and residents of the area are asked to remain indoors and call 911 immediately if they see anything suspicious.
