SC democrats are up to their shenanigans again. You deserve to know what's happening.
Democrat Joe Cunningham announced his running mate, Tally Casey, for Lieutenant Governor a few weeks ago.
Ever since, we've heard allegations of drug use, extramarital affairs and even more that led to her divorce. Since those behaviors would more than likely speak to her fitness to hold public office, we've been requesting Casey's divorce record–which was originally unsealed and public information.
Of course we understand the need to redact information about children and have no problem with that. But certainly information about Casey's adult decisions–that have adult consequences–is something voters across South Carolina should see.
Initially, the Family Court staff said they would only produce Casey’s divorce records to a lawyer–which is ridiculous because public records are available to all citizens of Richland County, not just those who have a law degree.
Regardless, we sent a lawyer on behalf of the Party to the Family Court to obtain her divorce file. But yet again, the Family Court staff refused to provide those records to our lawyer.
So yesterday morning, we released a statement demanding Richland County act fairly and with transparency. The same day, a judge sealed the record.
It's clear the Democrats running Richland County are trying to protect Democrats Joe Cunningham and Tally Casey. They're all as crooked as a snake in a hurry!
Democrat Tally Casey is an adult, who made adult decisions, and is vying to be a heartbeat away from the Governor's desk. Her decisions speak to her fitness for public office, and voters deserve to know all the facts to determine if she's fit for the job. And government entities shouldn't be helping play hide the ball.
What's worse, is the judge–who then recused herself after sealing the record–said sealing it was in the public's best interest. In what world is hiding the truth from voters about an unknown, statewide candidate two months from the election the public's best interest?
Democrats Joe Cunningham and Tally Casey owe it to every voter in South Carolina to answer for this mess. Voters deserve to know: what are they hiding?
We need you to help us figure out what Democrats Joe Cunningham and Tally Casey are trying to hide. We also need you to help us bring this mess to light. Cunningham and Casey should have to explain their side.
If, and that's a big IF, there's an innocent explanation, then why all the rushed secrecy in the middle of their campaign? Let them answer for it on the record.
Please, reach out to the Democrat Joe Cunningham-Tally Casey campaign. Ask them, "What are they hiding?" Did they go judge shopping to get a backroom, rushed deal to seal her divorce record? Why did the judge recuse herself after she sealed the record? Are the allegations true?
Again, we agree information about children is off limits. But if Casey is trying to cover up some bad behavior of her own, why? And what is it?

Reach out to the local press and ask them to get to the bottom of this. Folks deserve to know if the Democrats' campaign for governor used government entities, special access, and taxpayer dollars to cover up public information for political reasons.

Be respectful and don't stoop to the Left's level. But we need answers!
