May 9th: We have asked around and NO other state does this ... and it has never been done before here in South Carolina ... until now targeting a specific America FIRST supporter. We will have more on that later as we have inquired with our SCGOP National Committee members Glenn McCall and Cindy Costa to intervene and address the issue. No Organizational "Vote" Mentioned But what is most important from the meeting announcement ... Ms. Braylee Estep and the SCGOP conveniently "forgot" to mention anything about a necessary ORGANIZATIONAL VOTE for the RNC Committees. Why they did not mention it??? Well, Drew and the SCGOP Leadership clearly did not want all the "new" America FIRST Delegates to show up for what appeared to be a silly meeting to get instructions on what hotel to stay out. This isn't a paranoid assumption ... this is confirmed by long term SC political operatives that seem to be getting tired of Drew ... and they know CHANGE is coming in #ReOrg2025. When we first heard about the meeting being in person ... we asked why not have an informational meeting like that by ZOOM? Well ... now we know!!! Delegates have to be IN PERSON ... the "establishment" certainly knew there is an organization vote ... and the SCGOP Leadership was hoping America First Delegates would not show up so Drew could get the WORST OF THE WORST RINOS from his slate on these committees: (1) RNC Convention Rules Committee (two from SC) (2) RNC Convention Platform Committee (two from SC) (3) RNC Convention Credentials Committee (two from SC) (4) RNC Convention Permanent Committee (two from SC) THE SC TRUMP SLATE: Fortunately the word got out about the current SCGOP's DIRTY TRICKS ... and a TRUMP SLATE was announced on Friday that was endorsed by the entire SC TRUMP Leadership Team from Governor Henry McMaster on down ... Lieutenant Governor Pam Evette, U.S. Senator Tim Scott, U.S. Representative Joe Wilson, U.S. Representative Jeff Duncan, U.S. Representative William Timmons, U.S. Representative Nancy Mace, U.S. Representative Russell Fry, Treasurer Curtis Loftis. The People Of South Carolina Reject S915, The SC “Health Czar” Bill, That Would Give A Single Person Absolute Power During “Public Health Emergencies” – Governor Wants To Push It Back Through The US Constitution provides no authority to the federal government to meddle in affairs of health just as it provides no authority to meddle in education. South Carolina, which has one of the longest state constitutions in the US, like many Confederate states at the time had education forced on them by the federal government, something they should never have been involved in. Sadly, South Carolina made “public health” a part of government in 1699 when the first position of “State Health Officer” in North America was created by the General Assembly of Carolina after the first of several Yellow Fever epidemics struck Charleston. Following the People via their representatives denying a single czar to have absolute power in “pubic health emergencies,” Governor Henry McMaster wants to press the issue and bring it back to the legislature in June for another vote. S915 – the SC “Health Czar” bill which creates a new Secretary of Health and Policy position, given authority over all six public health agencies, councils, and advisory boards and determines health regulations – such as those enforced during a “public health emergency.” Governor McMaster’s initial appointee would have all the powers associated with the position without the usual ‘advice and consent of the senate’ for the first year – this includes power over public mandates during an election cycle with the threat of felony charges for noncompliance to emergency measures. The legislature would need a 2/3 vote from both houses to remove the appointee (for cause). The governor can replace the Health Czar without cause. Dueling RNC Slates from SC After the 2020 election "steal" the country was faced with 'Dueling Electors' from reportedly 7 states. One set based on the announced votes ... a second set contesting their respective states announced vote and mobilized to cast their vote for President TRUMP. Well, it looks like South Carolina will be sending a set of "Dueling Committee Members" to the RNC National Convention in Milwaukee this coming July 15th-18th. It is an interesting situation and reveals the efforts of the Nikki Haley wing of the SCGOP to disrupt the 2024 RNC Convention. We are all hearing about Nikki Haley's efforts in the national news and we watched it this past Saturday in Columbia. Here is the background ... On May 4th, the SCGOP held its State Convention to elect the remaining National Delegates & Alternates ... and per RNC Rules, an "organizational meeting" is required within two weeks. On May 8th, the SCGOP sent out their 1st notice to Delegates & Alternates for a 10AM meeting on Saturday May 18th ... but there was no mention of any voting. We first reported on this on May 9th (HERE). On May 13th, the SCGOP sent out a 2nd notice to Delegates & Alternates for the 10AM meeting ... but AGAIN, there was no mention of any voting. One May 17th, the RNC / TRUMP Team sent out a notice to all RNC National Delegates inviting them to a 9:30AM meeting ... to VOTE on a TRUMP ENDORSED SLATE for the RNC National Convention. We first reported on this on May 18th as it was happening (HERE). On May 18th at 9:30AM, the RNC / TRUMP Team held their 9:30AM meeting and 32 (our of 50) South Carolina National Delegates voted in lock step for the TRUMP ENDORSE SLATE. Later, at 10AM ...
